After earning my Masters in Taxation (MST), I began my CPA career in the tax department of a large Arizona CPA firm in 1983.  After acquiring the needed work hours, I was licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in 1985.

Math was always Denise’s favorite subject in school. When the opportunity to work with numbers as a career opened up she eagerly jumped in and started learning the process from the bottom up, completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (BSc) and passing the IRS Special Enrollment to earn the status of Enrolled Agent (EA), along the way.

After completing an intensive tax education course and passing the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) special Enrollment Exam (i.e. EA credential), I am now qualified to serve as an Enrolled Agent to represent clients before the IRS.

I’m super excited to couple my love for numbers, technology and software as I enter the complicated but fascinating world of taxes. An EA credential also provides me the strong foundation for tax preparation.

Kameron recently joined the firm since he had an interest in learning to be an expert at tax and accounting. He would be one of the youngest tax preparers we know. The tax profession lacks young ones as many older preparers are aging out so Legacy welcomes Kameron to join the firm and be that needed professional to carry the torch.
